We Gather (Pt. 3) O great master of trance Illuminate the golden road of belief that something great lies between the reaches of time Translate our desire for change into smoke rising from our spirits disappearing into the dark air of night skies I see the fire has burnt in some of you There you are Standing in darkness nothing but crickets Dawn has claimed your life confusion has tied your minds Come gather with us Bask in flames of freedom Soothe your souls in ways man has journeyed within for centuries |
| Paradise Open your eyes An ancient world awaits you outside restful sleep Blissful green fields as far as the eye can see Clear, blue skies seem to shelter us like a giant blanket Together... Our two souls molded to one in this paradise This sanctuary we share Disconnected from all those around us Dispatched into this haven This mythical legend only dreamed of by others Here we are Benieth this waterfall Gently falling all around us Relaxing Slowing down time Birds circling overhead Peering at us from above Wishing for the first time in their lives... To be human Noticing the happiness in our twinkling eyes Theyve longed for eternity to feel this warmth They glide into the distancewith complete amazement as we hold each other near |

Beautiful Phoenix Beautiful Pheonix, why must you die tonight? Spirits kneel at your very sight Your son must carry you to the realm of your ruler He has your wisdom, yet is much truer You must help me save my kingdom I know that at your birth you will come And the sky will be filled with your majestic flight All will be well by the fall of night When the sun hides and the moon appears Your warmth will dry my people's tears So fly to me, my fabled friend Until the pyre calls your journey's end |
| Controlled Conciousness Intruding the pale limits of controlled conciousness Surrounding images of undiscovered thoughts beneith the massive graffiti Here I am, trudging on toward endless periods and exclamation points and in between are loops and twists formed in exact sequence Communication, a last resort before conforming to an isolated mind within a vibrant society Too paranoid to venture out into the wilderness Withering and dying alone With no memories No experience Vibrancy conformed to isolation Hurried on into society's jungle There you are, pressing forward Not quite focusing on the certainty of knowledge All thoughts, memories, dreams of a day when the burdon of lonliness did not exist. Trying to find a way to escape the reality of truth You reach for a hand, but all you find is an eye Watching your every move Witnessing this state of denial you have gratiously accepted One more letter placed within the word that describes your place in the sand One step closer to the completion of your sentence |

Sound (The Dj Connection) Sound Pleasuring the inner carcass of my nebula Serving as a guide, as a connection, as a vision Producing dreams of countless creations while awaiting their birth They're in there Conjuring treasures unseen by any eye Untouched by any hand Only felt by way of soul This flash of light in gilted dark Charging through the solid wall This mysterious reflection seems branded to my evolving life Tattooed by experience Stewed by imagination At times I seem unreal Made up by bands of wild animals Invading civilization Is this a dream? Suddenly the set is over |
